Dear Sir,

I am directed by the Committee on Lots to inform you, that they will recommend the Trustees to guarantee the perpetual care of your lot no. 561 on Central Avenue, for the sum of four hundred and fifty dollars. --

This concurrence is a matter of form, and is always given. --

Whenever you may determine to accept the proposition, I will prepare the necessary papers.

Dear Sir,

I am directed by the Committee on Lots before whom I have laid your application, ^to say that they will recommend the Trustees to guarantee the perpetual care of lots numbered 1393 & 1394 belonging respectively to the estate of your late father & to yourself, for the sum of three hundred dollars for each lot -- say

six hundred dollars. --

Should these terms, which are the lowest allowed by the by-laws be acceptable, I will at your request, prepare the necessary papers. --

Dear Sir,

I have just recd from Mr Chas. R. Messenger of Toledo Ohio, propr of lot 3469, the enclosed orders, with his draft to cover the amount -- $65.00 -- paid in advance, & he desires you to proceed to execute the orders forthwith. $50. for new grading & sodding -- $6. for care of lot & plants, & $9. to be "expended in a few suitable flowers, the selection of which I will leave to your Superintendent's taste."

He intends at some day to enclose the lot with curb, but thinks the expenditures here ordered will greatly improve his lot. --

On motion of Jeffrey Richardson, Esq.,

Voted that the number of Trustees to be elected shall be the same as last year, and that a Committee of three be appointed by the Chair to receive, assort and count the votes for Trustees.

Trustees - meeting for Organization _

The first meeting of the Trustees for organization and business was held at the office of the Corporation (33 School Street) on

There were present, Messrs Adams, Austin, Bigelow, Bowditch, Cheever, Livermore, Lovejoy, Norcross, Rand, Read and Sleeper.

The record of the Annual meeting was read. _

Voted that the reading of the record of the last meeting of Trustees be dispensed with, it containing nothing requiring attention.

The Chair appointed Mr Livermore a Committee to receive and count the votes for officers by ballot:
