Trustees _ Nov. 6, 1865

The regular monthly meeting of the Trustees
was held on Monday November 6, 1865,
at 11 o'clock a.m.

There were present Messrs Adams, Bowditch,
Cheever, Lovejoy, Norcross, Rand, Read
and Sleeper.

Chairman protem.

The President being absent, Mr Read was
chosen chairman, pro tempore. _

The record of the last meeting was read. _

Resignation of Jas. Derby Gatekeeper _

A communication from James Derby resigning
his office as Gatekeeper was read. _ and it was
Voted that his resignation be accepted. _

Nomination of Gatekeeper ref^d to Com^ee _ Com^ee also authorized to Employ a Gatekeeper pro tem.

Voted that the selection of a candidate for
Gatekeeper be referred to a Committee of two
trustees to be nominated by the Chair, to report
thereon at the next meeting, and that the Com-
mittee be empowered to employ a person temporarily
to discharge the duties until one is chosen, _

Upon nomination by the chairman.
Messrs Rand and Norcross were chosen.

Mr Norcross submitted the following
report accompanied with a recommendation,
