The regular monthly meeting of the Trustees
was held on Tuesday May 11 1869 at 10 'oClock Am

There were present Mess^rs Adams, Austin _
Bowditch, Cheever, Lovejoy, Norcross, Read & Sleeper. 8.

The President being absent M^r Read was chosen
Chairman pro tempore

The record of the last meeting was read.

Sale of lot to Mrs Dr W. T. G. Morton at minimum price _

At the request of M^r Bowditch, it was
Voted. That the Committee on lots be authorized to approve
the sale of a burial lot to the widow of D^r W T G.
Morton, at the minimum value of one dollar per foot

Respecting sale of land to City of Cambridge _

The Hon. C H. Saunders, Mayor of Cambridge,
appeared before the Board in behalf of the Commissions of
the Cambridge Cemetery, to explain the proposition of the City to
purchase of this Corporation a strip of land from the Stone Meadow
adjoining said Cemetery.

The matter being already in the hands of the
Committee on Grounds for report thereon, no further action
was taken.

Amend^t to Act of Incorpⁿ to be again entered on record _

The Act in addition to the act incorporating the
Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn, recently
passed by the Legislature and approved on the 17^th day of
April 1869, was read.
