Trustees -

The regular meeting of the Trustees was held
on Tuesday. at 10 oclock Am

There were present the President & Messrs Adams:
Austin, Bowditch, Cheever, Lovejoy, Rand & Sleeper. . 8 .

The record of the last meeting was read & approved.

Claim of Landlord for Porterage adjusted _

The Committee of Finance reported in the matter
of the claim of porterage referred to said Committee at the
last meeting, that the claim had been satisfactorily settled.

The report was accepted.

Abatement of Taxes in Cambridge _

Said Committee also reported in relation to
abatement of taxes by the City of Cambridge, that the
Treasurer had secured an abatement of $3000. on the
valuation of real estate; or $42. on tax bill.

The report was accepted.

Supply Water for Cemetery _

The Committee appointed in relation to a supply
of water for watering the street in front of the Cemetery, report-
ed, that the question had been presented to the Committee in
a new form. _ that the persons living on the street between
Mount Auburn gate and Fayerweather Street are anxious
to obtain a supply of water from the City of Cambridge,
and the Cambridge Water Works are ready to lay main pipe
between said points, if the abutters will subscribe and pay
