Trustees _ March 15, 1870 _

Trustees' Records 1870-1.

The regular meeting of the Trustees for organ-
ization and business was held on Tuesday,
March 15, 1870, at ten o'clock a.m.

There were present the whole Board:

viz.

Messrs Austin, Bigelow, Bowditch, J. T. Bradlee,
N. J. Bradlee, Brewer, Livermore, Lovejoy, Norcross,
Rand, Sleeper and Turner. _

Dr Bigelow took the Chair. _

The record of the last meeting of the Trustees,
and of the Annual Meeting of the Proprietors
was read.

The Board proceeded to organize by
the choice of a President.

President chosen _

Mr Livermore was appointed a Committee to
to receive and count the votes.

The whole number of ballots cast for President was 11 _

Necessary for choice	___	6
Dr Jacob Bigelow had	8	___
John T. Bradlee " [had]	2
& Jacob Sleeper " [had]	1

and Dr Bigelow was declared chosen Pres^t _
