Poppy Seed Bread yellow cake mix (Butter Recipe)
Mix + bake according to pkg. directions add handfull of Poppy Seeds
350° - 40 mins. 2 loaf pans (bread pans)

Chili Cheese dip 2 cans Cheddar Cheese soup 1lb. Velveeta Cheese 1/2 lb. Hot pepper Cheese (optional)
Melt Cheeses + soup in double boiler.
add: 1 sm. can Ortega green chilies - 1 lge chopped onion
Heat only a few more minutes. May be kept warm on low in a crock pot.
Be careful not to overheat cheeses curdle
May be used cold as a cheese spread.

Standing Rib Breast 320° 1T lemon pepper seasoning 1T Paprika 1 1/2t garlic salt 1t rosemary (crushed) 1/2t ceyenne pepper 1-6- 7 lb. roast Combine spices + rub over roast. Place roast with fat side up in a large roasting pan. Insert meat thermometer allow 23-25 mins per lb. for rare 140° - 27-30 mins for med 160°-32-35 mins for well done - 170° Let stand 10 - 15 mins before carving Pour pan juices into a measuring cup - skim off fat. Add 2 cups boiling water - 1t beef boulion to pan - stir + remove browned bits. Stir in reserved juices

Vicki's Salsa 1 sm. can Ortega green chilies (diced) 1 can Ortega green chili salsa (mild) 1/2 cup chopped green onion 1 can stewed tomatoes (drained & chopped) 1t garlic salt 1t. lemon juice salt & pepper to taste
