TO THE HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL;
Gentlemen;-
Whereas Interest will mature on certain bonds of the city, in New York, November 1, 1906, amounting to the sum of $2150.00
We, your committee on Finance, therefore recommend that the City Secretary be authorized and instructed to draw a warrant on the General Interest and Sinking Fund, in favor of W. B. Harrison, City Treasurer, for said sum of $2150.00 interest and the further sum of $5.38 as Exchange on New York, making the sum of $2155.38

Whereas a note executed by the city in favor of the Eureka Fire Hose Co. Nov.1, 1904 for Fire Hose purchased will mature Nov.1, 1906 Said note being in the sum of 1000.00 and bearing interest at the rate of 6% per annum from date.
Therefore, we, your committee on Finance, recommend that the City Secretary be authorized and instructed to draw a warrant on the General Fund, in favor of the holder of said note for the sum of $1120.00 in payment of said note and interest.
