To the Honorable Mayor and City Council, of the City of Fort Worth, and the committee on Public Grounds.

Gentlemen:-

This is to take the place of a proposition heretofore made you to purchase from the city two lots of land situated on West Broadway Street between Wheeler and Adams. Said lot situated on the North side of the street facing southand being 100x200 feet in size.

I propose to pay the city for said lots the sum of $1700.00 in cash. The city to furnish me with abstract showingclear and perfect title in it to said lots. Said city, upon the approval of the title by my attorney , to make a general warranty deed conveying 100x200 feet.

It is intended that this proposition be a supplement, or alternate proposition to the one heretofore submitted by me and now in the hands of the above committee.

TO THE HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL;

Gentlemen:-

Whereas, the note given the Darnell Lumber Co. as part payment on the Eighth Ward School building, will mature October 20, 1906. Said note is for the sum of$10,000.00 and there will be four months interest on same at the rate of 7% per annum, amounting to the sum of $233.33

Therefore, we, your committeeon Finance, recommend that the City Secretary be authorized and instructed to draw a warrant on the General Fund in favor of the Darnell Lumber So. for the sum of $10,233.33 in payment of said note and interest.
