Gentlemen:

Your petitioner would respectfully state that on June 4th 1906 the city acquired by purchase from August Males a lot for purpose of opening up Bois D Arc Street. The property owners along said street agreed to pay for the sewer in said street, and as the city has purchased the lot aforesaid, the original owner did not pay for the sewer, which the owner agreed had to be paid by your petitioner. I therefore ask your honorable body to allow the amount that said lot should pay to me, which amount is $37.50.
