No. 25,299. City of Fort Worth, : District Court vs. : of J.C. League, et al : Galveston Co. Tex.
August 27, 1906
Mr. E. C. Orrick, City Attorney, Ft. Worth, Texas.
Dear Sir:
Herewith hand you copy of deposition of J.C.League in above case, taken before me in this city on the 21st. inst; also my bill covering fee for taking the deposition and for copy enclosed, amounting to $20.25, which kindly have vouchered at an early date.
I call your attention to the "Exhibit A" attached to this deposition, which does not strike me as being such a statement as you desired from the witness. Mr. League, however, seemed to think that this is what you wanted, and I therefore attached the original to the deposition and certified it as being the statement furnished by him.
Will be glad to serve you at any time.
Yours truly, Charles F. C. Artz
