Mr. J. W. Robins, Supt., Santa Fe Ry., Cleburne, Texas.
Dear Mr. Robins:
I have yours of the 8th inst. in regard to Smith Bros. track crossing 6th St.
I am much inclined to think that your right-of-way holdings and street crossing permission from the City Council are sufficient to cover the case and permit the tracks being built. However, I will refer the entire matter to the City Attorney today, and will send you his reply.
Respectfully,
W.N.C.

It, therefore, does not appear to me that we require any special charter or authority from the city for the construction of these tracks, and I write you in the matter concerning the grade at which these tracks should cross 6th Street.
With return of blue print, will you kindly advise if it will be satisfactory to lay these tracks at a similar grade line with our main line over that street crossing. Would like
