To Honerable Mayor & City Council, City of Fort Worth, Texas.

Honerable Sirs:-

The Fort Worth Benevolent Home would respectfully represent to your Honerable Body that the amount paid by the city of Fort Worth for the expenses of the hoe from January 1, 1904 to the present time had been $200.00. The city has paid some during the year of 1904 above this $200.00 but it was on the expenses of the year of 1903. Most of the children in the home are taken from the city, and the cold weather and other things have brought great necessity for help at the home, and we would respectfully request that you grant the amount of $300.00 to be paid at once to help in this work. This amount is absolutely needful inorder to meet the demands upon the home.

Respectfully submitted,

George Q. McGown, Chairman, E. L. Huffman, Treasurer.
