TO THE HONORABLE CITY COUNCIL at the City of FORT WORTH:

We, the undersigned resident tax payers of the city of Fort Worth owning property in the neighborhood of Hogg and Belknap streets respectfully pray your honorable body to take steps at once to condemn as a public street the following described tract of land situated in the city of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas; Beginning at the N.W. Corner of Lot No. Nine (9) Live Oak Addition: Thence north 10 feet: Thence east parallel with the north line of Belknap street 211 feet to the west line of Wilderman street: Thence south 10 feet with Wilderman street to the N.E. corner of Lot No. Sixteen (16) Live Oak Addition: Thence westerly with the north line of Live Oak Addition and with Hogg street to the place of beginning.

Petitioners state that this 10 feet of ground properly belongs to Belknap street but that in plating the street it was excluded from the dedication. That said property is owned by EW. Provine and his wife, I.J. Provine.

Petitioners further represent that said Provines are now threatening to fence up said ground and have commenced to do work necessary to fence said ground. That if they do so, they will obstruct or separate Hogg street from Belknap street. That these streets, Hogg and Belknap, in this neighborhood are extensively travelled and both have been dedicated to and improved by the city.
