Form No. 275.

OFFICE OF THE Western Union Telegraph Company, (INCORPORATED)

Fort Worth, Texas, Jan.25,1905.

To the Honorable Mayor and City Council, Fort Worth, Texas.

GREETING:--

Being desirous of clearing the records of the taxes now due and unpaid by the Western Union Telegraph Company at Fort Worth, I hereby petition the said Hon. City Council for a reduction in the assessed vaulation for the years 1901, 1902 and 1903 to conform to assessed valuation of the year 1904, viz., $7,500.00 without accrued interest for delinquency, the said valuation as now appearing of record being too high and unjust.

I believe it to be expedient to all parties concerned that this matter be adjusted, and I hereby petition the Hon. Council for the relief prayed.

Respectfully submitted,

HB Cernery Manager.
