[p.356] December 9 1949 Fri. To store and sent package. Mild and bright. Hemmed towels. Harold came home.

1950 Baked brown bread etc. Sam, Doris, children, mother and Dad came down. Got them lunch and tea. Hugh came home.

1951 Sun Read and typed. To church in evening.

1952 Tues. To bank and library and did errands. Writing notes and worked on textbook. Rain.

1953 Had my hair done on Eglinton. Shopped and went to bank. Wrote letters.

[p.357] December 10 1949 Sat. Baked pumpkin pies. Snowing. Harold and I to cocktail party of Jessie McPhersons. Very nice.

1950 Sun. To church. Clear cold day. Talked to Hugh. Listened to radio. Mushrooms for supper.

1951 Mon. Washed, typed and shopped. Colder.

1952 Downtown and shopped. Worked on textbook. Helped Anne with posters Raining

1953 Downtown and shopped. To library and finished proofs of textbook. Rain and snow flurries. Long talk with Delbert.

[p.358] December 11 1949 Sun. Harold left for Ottawa. Heard symphony. Wrote letters. Anne and Hugh studying.

1950 Mon. Washed. Cut out Anne's new formal. To University library. Mary out. Anne writing exams.

1951 Nina worked. Downtown shopping. Letter from Mary. Anne and I to see "Lavender Hill Mob" - very good.

1952 Thurs. Train to London, Donald met me. Lunch with Donald and [W.] To Western campus and hospital and library. Very nice day. Dinner and got home at 10:30. Anne met me.

1953 Fri. Took gallery proofs to Clarke, Irvin. To Heliconian literary lunch. Shopped. Mrs. Williamson came in. Sold house. Hazlett came.

[p.359] December 12 1949 Mon. Worked. Very mild and bright. To University library. Wrote to Donald and Mary.

1950 Tues. Snow and sun. Letter from Harold. Mary and I to our last class ob industrial design and to Mrs. Gordon;s for tea. Very nice.

1951 Wed. To see "An American in Paris", lovely. Harold out and Anne had guest for dinner. To church to discussion on "Prayers".

1952 Fri. To Fred Kemp's office to go over papers. Met Della Kemp for lunch. Working on income tax etc. To Beulah Mc Il's for club tea. Very nice. Don Creighton called.

1953 Sat. Baked and wrote letters. Hugh out for lunch. Typed. Joan here for dinner, she and Hugh wrapped gifts,

1950 Wed. Downtown Xmas shopping. Anne writing exams. To Luella's for dinner. Robert Finch there. Cold. Girls at tennis match.

1951 To church to get wool. Shopped. Harold and I to our club dinner and Dr. Chant spoke. Cold.

1952 Worked on notes and papers. Baked cookies and Custards. Mild. Anne to weekend at Caledon, Donald Creighton here in evening.

1953 To church. Wrote letters and wrapped gifts. Listened to radio. Hugh out.
