2nd mo 1866

3rd 6 I read this morning. Cousin Alice Aunt Hannah & Grandmother were here this evening I went up to the Dam and met Sister.

4th 7 I read this morning. Went down to Cousin Willy Bonds pond skating in the afternoon

5th 8th Read this morning, over at Grandfathers in the afternoon, went up to the reading sircle in the evening.

6th 9th

7th 10 I went down to Cousin Willy Bonds ice pond skating this morning. Aunt Sarah & Harry spent the day here. All the Fulford Girls were here a little while in the afternoon. Sister and myself went up to Uncle Henry Hallowells this evening

1st 11 Came from there to meeting, splendid day but the roads were very bad. Uncle Fred Warwick & Charles were here this afternoon, wrote to Walter Charly & Gran

2nd mo 1866 7

2nd 12 Read this morning, went up to the store in the afternoon to get my boot mendid. Mother and I went down to Uncle Bobs in the evening.

3rd 13 I went up to Cousin Samuels Ellicoots for Aunt Hannah & also to Cousin Charly Idings to look at a cow. He came down in the evening to look at ours. Father traded Bell off for one of his and gave him $35.00 boot.

4th 14 Bob & I took Bell up to Ashton and met Cousin Charly with his cow there, we brought it home and I made a pen for it & the calf

5th 15 Alice Underwood stoped here this morning on her way home. The stage could not go to Laurel as the roads were too bad I took up her some wood for Uncle Evan and put in 8 panes of glass down at Bobs house. Bob took 3 barrels of corn down to Celshner

6th 16 Bob and I sheled eight bushels of corn this morning. I took it up to the mill in the afternoon Roads were frozen hard.

7th 17 Sister and I went skating Brooks Dam in the afternoon. Mother & Father went up to a lecture in the evening. Father and us children went down to the branch and caught 9 large sucors bystriking the ice above them, this morning

2nd mo 1866

1st 18 Father & Lister went to meeting. The children & I went down to the branch and caught four fish.

2nd 19 I went up to the store this morning to get my boot minded. Mother Father and I went over to Grandfathers and spent the evening.

3rd 20 I borded up the ice house this morning and fixed up things generally. went up to the store in the evening after a wate

4th 21 Mother & Father started to Baltimore but the roads were very bad so they turned back. I went out and invited Calebs birth day guests to his party which he had in the afternoon.

5th 22 This is General Washingtons birth day. Granville & Harry were here, so all the children they and my self went out and burned brush in the morning. We went up to the reading scircle in the evening.

6th 23 Father and I were out cutting trees in the new grown this morning Bob and I burned brush in the afternoon.

2nd mo 1866

24th 24 I read this morning wrote this up this afternoon. Cousin Albina came up in the stage and has bee stoped here as is has been raining all day

1st 23 I have been reading all day.

2nd 26 Bob and I hawled in 2 loads of fodder and then we burned some brush up in the front woods. in the afternoon we burned brush.

3rd 27 We burned brush all day, went over to Granfathers in the evening.

4th 28 Burned brush this morning. Father Mother & Sister went up to Uncle Franks and stayed to supper. Evan made a days grubbing to day

5th 29 I took the calf up to Ashton sent is down by market wagon. Evan made a days grubbing. Bob stoped the washer in the old potato field I took some chickens [aprd?] 7 dozen eggs up to Ashton for William Stabler to take down.

3rd moth 1866

6th 2nd Jerry Hill William Bond & Evan were at work here to day Bob finished stopping the gullies, in the afternoon he and I hawled rails.

7th 3 All three of the men were at work here to day. Bob and I hawled wood and draged off logs. Mother and Uncle Asa went to Bolto today got Back in the evening. Hallie Lea & George Stabler were here in the evning.

1st 4th Sister Corrie Belle Warwick & my self went to meeting in the two horse carriages Willy Thomas was here in the evening.

2nd th William was not here to day Evan & Jerry were. We burned brush all day Father has been out with us.

3rd 6th William has not been here, the other two have. Bob and I took a load of hay down to Celshner, we all burned brush in the afternoon Father with me.

4th 7th All the men have been here to day Bob & I hawled fodder this morning, we burned brush in the evening Father also
