To the Honorable Mayor and City Council of the City of Fort Worth. Gentlemen:

We, your committee appointed to investigate and report on the attached petition, would respectfully report that we recommend that the City make to Ray Hunter quitclaim deed quitclaiming to him the lot referred to Sub 14 Block 30 being fifty-six feet front on First Street and seventy-six feet more or less in depth back from said street. & that the mayor & city secretary be authorized to execute same

H. O. HEAD, ASSOCIATE JUSTICE.

To the Honorable the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, Texas.

Your petitioner Ray Hunter states under oath that he is the owner and in possession of lot 14 in Block 30 City of Fort Worth, which lot fronts 55 feet on East First Street and extends back North 30 West 80 feet to the South line of what was known as the Buell lot which Buell lot fronts North on East Weatherford, and is and ever since 1890 has been fenced, the South fence being on the South line; That on the 18th day of June 1889. Amelia Powell was the owner of the lot of land situated in the line of East First Street, and the City desired to extend First Street Eastward from Elm Street and said city also owned said land now known as said lot 14 Block 30 from the north edge of East First Street to the South line of the Buell lot, but said lots were both these unfenced and unimproved and the said city offered to convey its said lot to the said Amelia Powell if she would release and convoy to the city her lot in First Street which was 60 feet by 56 feet, and also remove her houses there on her lot to lot 14, and fence the same which offer was accepted by said Amelia and the deeds to the lots were made in exchange and the city removed the buildings on and fenced lot 14 as agreed, but the city authorities this wrote and made the deed by mis
