mistake, called to run back N 20° W only 54 feet instead of 80 feet, but the intention of the city was to convey to her all the land it owned back to the Buell lot, and the contract of sale was for all the land back to the Buell lot 55 feet wide; that said Amelia Powell took possession of said lot and was placed in possession there of by the city and lived thereon until her death about August 17, 1896. when Sam J. Hunter took possession thereof as the executor of her last will which was duly probated on Jany 19, 1897, and by himself and Malvina Grease, the beneficiary named in the will, held possession thereof continuously until the 5th day of November 1901. when the said Sam J. Hunter as such executor and the said Malvina Grease for the consideration of $800. paid by Ray Hunter, your petitioner, conveyed the same to him who is now the owner thereof, and has been in possession thereof ever since the date of his purchase aforesaid. possession of the said lot ever since as being 55 feet front by 80 feet deep, and it was so measured run out and conveyed to your petitioner.

He further states that no persons other than the City of Fort Worth has any title or claim to the land covered by the 55x80 feet and that the official maps of the City show said lot 14 to be 55x74.5 feet, but in truth and in fact it is 55x80 ft from the north edge of First Street to the south line of the Buell lot and there is no intervening owner or claimed and never has been, so far as petitioner is informed, and the records show none.

Petitioner therefore prays your honorable body to pass an order directing the Mayor of the City to convey to him the back portion of said lot 14, or make him a deed with covenants of special warranty to the entire lot property described as 80ft deep instead of 54 and he will every pray.
