Sat 19 Washed & baked 2 pies. Anne & Hugh packing books & took a load of dishes to apt. Mild & bright.

Sun 19 To church. Joan & Hugh here for dinner & tea. Mild & melting. Canvasser here from church. Anne out.

Mon. 19 very mild. very busy in office. Dons' meeting. Dinner at [Delta Delta Delta - in Greek alphabet] & spoke there. Snowing.

Wed. 19 Meeting with Principal at 9 a.m. Mild day. Wrote letters. Typed & typed.

19 To Dr. Crockford - teeth cleaned. Cold. Had hair done. Dinner with Miss West.

FEBRUARY 7

19 To church. To tea at Alta Lind's, helped serve, very nice time.

Mon. 19 Natural gas turned in. Typed & altered dress. Anne & I to Can. ballet to see "Giselle" & "Gala Performance" very good.

Tues 19 Ruth Underhill & Freda Knox here for lunch. Very nice time. Mr. Malcolm came.

Thu. 19 To see Mr. Brook re budget. Heliconian lunch. Opening of Univ. Women's Club. Spacious, lovely rooms. Museum. talk on Paris

19 Meeting of Council. very busy day. Arts Ball - in receiving line - very nice & well arranged.

FEBRUARY 8

Mon. 19 Worked on Fur Trade. Letter from Mary. Packed & A. & Hugh took a car load to apt.

Tues 19 Snowing. Typed. Lunch with Margaret Tanton. Gas oven adjusted.

Wed 19 Lovely weather, mild & sunny. Went to bank. Worked on sheets. Dinner at Cody.

Fri 19 Interviews. Had my hair done. Letter from Anne. Damp. Dinner at Union.

Sat. 19 on duty in office. To wedding reception - Margaret Penman & Ted Honderich. Suddenly developed violent cold.

FEBRUARY 9

19 Packed papers all morning. Had my hair done. Mild & sunny. Cleaned garage.

19 Typed. Lunch at Grace Baker's with U.C. Alumnae exec. mild. Fur Trade proof came.

19 Worked on estimates. Went to Univ. library. Dinner at Mulock.

19 Downtown. Then typed all day - finished D's chap. V. of thesis. Dinner at Union.

Sun. 19 In bed all day. Feeling wretched. Read Prescott's "Once to Sinai". Meals on trays.

FEBRUARY 10

19 Hugh & I burned trash from garage. Packed my books. Refrig. went. Very hectic day. Dinner at Murray's.

Thu. 19 Mild. Anne home for lunch. Proof reading. To Dr. Finlayson for check-up all o.k.

19 Mild. To Heliconian for Lit. luncheon - "business men in novels". Dinner at Mulock.

Sun. 19 Hart H. service - Friends. Dr. Sture - very good. To Hugh's for dinner. Back to tea at Jeanneret's. Read & knitted.

Mon. 19 In bed all day. Crowds of people in. Read & knitted. Called up Anne in Ottawa.
