Wed 19 Heavy snow. Typed & worked on "Fur Trade" notes all day. 8 in. snow fell. Heard "Traviata" on radio.

Thu 19 Very cold. To store. Anne here for lunch. Luella came in to tea. Working on M. & C. Anne out. Letter from Mary.

Fri. 19 Bright & fine. Alison Kemp Mitchell here for lunch. To Chief Accts ofice for figures. U.C. party in Men's Res. Boeschenstein spoke.

Sun. 19 To church. Met Joan & Hugh for lunch at Diana Sweets. Tea here. Anne B. & I to H.H. orchestra. Lovely programme.

Mon. 19 Melting. Feeling miserable. To dinner at Gamma Phi Beta house, then to S.C.M. Board & gave opening.

JANUARY 28

19 Worked on "Fur Trade" all day. very cold. At night Donald came.

Fri 19 To bank & had lunch with Harriet Parsons. Very cold. Anne out.

Sat. 19 Donald here for lunch & dinner. Had Hattons for tea. A. to ballet & D. & I to see "African Lion". very good. Fine visit with D.

Mon. 19 Busy with mail, guest money etc. Council met here. Dinner at Mulock.

19 Principal's meeting. Res. Expansion Com. met here all afternoon. To Avenue with Joan & Hugh - "View from the Bridge". powerful.

JANUARY 29

Fri 19 D. & I talked & sorted books & papers. Went over house planning move. Luella & Cynthia here in evening.

19 Very cold. Sylka cleaned Wrote letters & M. & C. To tea at Jo's & met YW people, very nice. Anne out.

Sun 19 D. left early. Mild & wet. Wrote letters. To "At Home of Falconer Hall - I poured. Saw house, lovely party.

Tues. 19 To library. Letter from Anne. Hugh - card from Cornwall, on Seaway trip. Mulock.

Wed. 19 Scholarship Tea in Ferguson Auditorium - crowds there. Residence Council met. dinner at Falconer.

JANUARY 30

Sat 19 D. & I to Com. meeting at Economics bldg. D. Anne & I to see apartment. Others all to movies. I baked.

Sun 19 To church. Very cold. Joan & Hugh here for dinner. & tea. To supper at Duffs - botany people there.

19 Snow all day - very deep. Worked on budget, Dons' Meeting. To Pi Phi house for dinner & spoke. 7 inches of snow fell.

Wed. 19 Meeting at Prin. office - Lunch at Gamma Phi Delta house. Women's Faculty Union dinner at Hart House. Reading Simone de Beauvoir

Thu. 19 Frater. officer here. People in all day. Student - Staff meeting here - very good. Dinner at Cody.

19 Cold & bright. Roasted beef etc. for dinner. D. left at 4. A. out all day.

Mon. 19 Typewriter taken away. Worked on M & C all day. To store. Very cold. Alan C. here in evening.

Tues. 19 Talked to Myra Measures re formal. Had my hair done. Dinner in Union. Worked on estimates.

Thu. 19 Bright, snow. Preparing for estimates. Letter from Anne. Dinner at Cody. To Museum - lecture on London.
