Thu 19 To bank & to lunch at Marie Unsons. Very nice. Sherry with Misses [McNeilhi?] & Harriet Parsons. cold.

Fri 19 Worked on book & wrote letters. Shopped. mild. Anne to Kingston. Reading "The African Witch"

Sat. 19 Wrote letters etc. in office. Heard "Tosca", sewed and read. Dinner at Falconer. With Miss Jardine, West etc. to Miss Fergusons party - very nice. Cold.

Mon. 19 Very busy - girls left res. to marry, breakdown & what not. Typed at odd moments. Dinner at Falconer.

Tues. 19 Snow & cold. Had my hair done. Books came from D. To library.

JANUARY 8

Fri. 19 Worked with Clark, Easterbrook & Jane on "Fur Trade". Silka cleaned. Very cold. To Library.

19 To library & shopped. Baked custard & cookies. Read & worked on book. Baked cookies.

19 To church at Hart House. Dinner at Union. Anne typed here & I read. After tea Anne Bolgan here & talked about Eliot.

19 Letter from Wendy. Burglar on 3rd floor Falconer - police etc. Anne B. came over for tea. Letter from Anne.

Wed 19 Scholarship meeting 2 - 4.30. Res. Council 5:15 - 6 Dinner Mulock. To Circ. library.

JANUARY 9

Sat. 19 Hugh & I looked at apt. on Bedford Rd. Worked on Newf. sewed & heard "Tannhauser" on radio. A. & H. out.

Sun. 19 Joan & Hugh here for dinner. Anne came about 10 - brot me picture by Wendy. Have cold. Snowing.

Mon 19 Sleet & melting snow. Had my hair done. Dinner at Cody. Talked to Anne Bolgan. Phoned Delbert.

Wed 19 Meeting at Principal's office. Typed noon & night. Very mild. To library. wrote letters.

19 Cold and bright. To Dr. MacDonald for eye check-up. To Vic to see Jessie Macpherson. Dinner at Union. Cold.

JANUARY 10

Sun 19 Very cold. Read & wrote letters. To Long's for supper, Marie Buchanan there. Washed.

Mon. 19 Stayed in with cold. Cleaned silver, worked on book & sorted notes. Anne baked.

Tues 19 Girl from Telephone Co. here, new girl & parents, to bank, Dons' Meeting. Busy day. Dinner at Cody.

Thu. 19 Letter from Mary. Colder & snow. Met with registrar over forms & with Principal. Hugh called up. Dinner at Cody. Luella came in.

19 Talked to Margaret Sinden. Council meeting.

JANUARY 11

Mon. 19 Jane Ward & I worked in study all day. I got our lunch. Very cold. Hugh out. I wrote letters.

Tues. 19 Cleaned more silver. Wrote & read. Cold. Anne Dalton here in evening. Reading Stark's "Ionia."

Wed. 19 To Simcoe Hall. Preparing sheets for estimates. Raining & slushy. A & I to "Tamburlane" - Gorgeous.

Fri. 19 F.R.O.S & then to Council. Very cold. Typing on Jamaica. Last night with Miss Jardine to Museum course - Eng. Country Houses.

Sat. 19 on duty all morning. Meeting at Convocation Hall for Pres. Smith & reception at Museum in evening. Saw lots of people.
