Sun. 19 To Bloor St. church - rebuilt, beautiful. Fine sunshine Wrote letters. Tea in Union. Anne & I with Rosie & Lois to Mozart concert at H.H. Delightful.

19 Typed on my speech. Had permanent. Ate dinner with Miss West. Called up Hugh.

Wed. 19 Very busy. To Univ. library. Work on budget. Went over "sheets."

JANUARY 23

Sat 19 Mild. Went to Deer Park library. Working on Nfld. Wrote letters.

Sun 19 To church with Bernhardts as usual. Joan & Hugh here for dinner. Tea - Alex, Bea, Mary W, Dales & Alan C. Wrote letters.

Mon. 19 Lovely sunshine. To bookstore. Dons' meeting. To Gamma Phi Beta for dinner & spoke.

Wed. 19 sent birthday cable to Anne at Dar es Salaam. Meeting at Principal's office. Property Com. met. To library. very cold.

Thu. 19 People in all day. To see Mr. Russell re Estimates My hair done. To library. Dinner at Union. Hugh called up.

Sun. 19 Anne & I to church. Mild. Reading Virginia Woolf. Worked on "Fur Trade" bibliog.

19 To Simcoe Hall, downtown & shopped. Cold. Lunch with Jane W. at Dianas. Working on M. & C. Alan C. here in evening.

19 Interviews & worked on budget. Downtown & got hat. Dinner at Cody. Reading & writing letters in evening.

Thu. 19 Scholarship Com. Freda Knox here for lunch. Dinner in Union. With Miss Jardine to Museum, "Germany & the Rhine"

Fri 19 People in & out all day. to FROS meeting. Snowing.

Wed 19 Anne 23. Her gifts. Irene Clarke here for lunch. Very nice to see her. Anne & I to movie - "Doctor At Sea" & had jelly at Murrays.

Sat. 19 On duty. Heavy snow. Men barricaded gate with snow. Sewing on red dress. "La Forza del Destino" on radio.

Tues 19 Worked in Ref & Univ. library. Shepherds & [decorators?] here all afternoon. Luella & Cynthia for tea. To Mrs. Savage's dinner for Jo Perfect. Lovely.

Wed. 19 Very cold. M. & C all day. Anne home for lunch. Heard "Coriolanus" on CBC.

19 Worked on sheets with Miss W. & Miss J. To library. Dinner at Mulock. A. Bolgan, E. [McCorkell?] & I to Model Parliament very interesting.

19 Morning in stacks. Cold but bright. Silver giraffe pin from Anne. To Cent. Lib. Wrote letters to all.
