Tues. 19 Violent snow & sleet all day. To the Press & Ref. Lib. all morning. Worked at home in afternoon. Hugh shopped.

Wed. 19 Typed. To dentist. Lunch at Gwyneth Grube's, Grace B, Freda & Betty E. there. Snowing hard. Symphony. Boyd Neel conducted.

Thu. 19 To FROS meeting. Dinner at Falconer, Miss Park guest. A. & I to "Kiss Me Kate" at H.H.

Sat. 19 On duty all morning. Snowing. To library. Dinner at Cody. Very tired.

Sun. 19 To church. 3o. Dinner with Joan & Hugh at U.W.C. very nice afternoon. Tea here. Supper at Bea's & met Mrs. Seeley. Snow & very cold.

FEBRUARY 17

19 Very mild. Downtown to shop. Put up curtains. Worked on Fur Trade. To Symphony, heard Heifitz

Thu. 19 To library & to see Bissell re being Dean. Anne home for lunch & Hugh called up. Mild. typing.

19 Worked on estimates, wrote letters. Snow, slush, rain. Bushes & trees encased in ice - beautiful.

Sun. 19 Snow. H.S. student reception in East & West Hall 450 came. Sat on platform. Tea in Union. Colder.

Mon 19 Blizzard & very cold. Meeting at Principal's office. Spoke to 150 h.s. students [left pointing arrow] in House Ec. bldg. with Mr. [line] Foulds. All much interested [entered in wrong space - see next day's entry]

Thu 19 To bank, lunch at Diana's with Jane Ward. Worked in Ref. Anne & Hugh out. Mary Unson & Clarky came in.

Fri 19 Typed. Downtown & ordered groceries. Mild. Anne & Alan to South House formal. I had dinner at Honey Dew

Sat. 19 To library. Snowing. Reading George Eliot's Letters. Dinner at Falconer.

Mon. 19 Tired. Working on estimates. Applications. Snowing. Dinner at Mulock.

19 Correcting typescript. Anne at Conversat all day. I went in afternoon - animals, skulls etc. Crowds

Sun. 19 To church - lovely, bright day, Dinner at Union. Reading. Anne here in afternoon.

Tues. 19 Letters from Anne. Cates's in Florida. With Robert to supper at Joliat's. very nice time. Bonds from Chicago, Rouillards, McLeans etc.

Wed. 19 Ash Wednesday. Residence Council met here. Dinner at Mulock. Busy day

Sat. 19 To Central Circ. & walked back - warm sun. Worked on Newf. Alec Brady came over.

Sun 19 To church. Joan, & Hugh to dinner & all to Conversat. They & Alan here for tea. Very nice time.

Mon. 19 To Press & went over Essays with Miss Houston. Dons' meeting. very tired. Ate dinner with Miss West in back dining room.

Wed. 19 Meeting with Principal. Worked with Miss West on estimates. Mulock.

Thu. 19 Worked on estimates all morning. Hair done. milder. Dinner at Union.
