Sun 19 Wrote letters. Read. Anne & Hugh out. Took short walk.

Mon. 19 Very mild. Worked in Ref. Lib. Shopped. Correcting typescript. Violet bloomed, first time in yr.

19 To Prin. Jeanneret with budget - had long talk. Took book mss. to Robertson. Dinner at Cody.

Feb. 21 went over budget with Mr. Westhead. To lunch at Mrs. Schuller's. Union. To Museum - talk on northern Italy.

Fri. 19 Literary section, Heliconian Talked on Kipling. To Property Com. To Kemps in Willowdale for dinner. Dr. Lorne Pierce drove me home.

FEBRUARY 22

Mon. 19 Worked in Ref. & Univ. Lib. Colder. Typed on Fur Trade.

Tues. 19 Snowing. To Royal Alec for tickets & to Robertson with mss. Anne & I played cribbage.

19 Wed. To see Vice-Pres. Stone & Mr. Court re budget. Talked over an hour. A & I to slides of [clougnier?] Rousseau Dinner at Cody

Fri. 19 Lit. section Heliconian, lunch, very good. West Indian students' dinner. Good speeches. Strachan Hall.

Sat 19 On duty. Did many jobs. Mild. To circl. Lib. Heard "Traviata" on radio.

FEBRUARY 23

Tues. 19 Typed. To Arena to see Anne play hockey on U.C. Team. Hugh & I to Yorkville Public Library.

Wed 19 Anne off early to hockey. To Univ. Lib. & saw Bissell. Anne out.

19 Worked all day on budget. George & Vera Brown at dinner in [Cody - crossed out] Mulock. To library in evening.

Sat. 19 Downtown. Mrs. Daley's lunch at Ladies' Club - 40 there. Dinner at Union.

Sun. 19 With Lois to dinner at Hugh's. Poured tea here. Have very bad cold.

FEBRUARY 24

Wed. 19 To Ref. & shopped. Letter from Mary. Hugh out. Reading "To the Lighthouse". Mild. Piano hoisted in window.

Thu 19 To church to give in knitting. Shopped. To U.A.W.C - Mrs. Bagnani on Dutch pictures. Saw many people.

Fri. 19 Sleet & freezing rain. Wrote letters & did budget. Dinner at Mulock. Reading George Eliot's letters.

Sun. 19 To church. With Hugh & Joan to dinner at Univ. Women's Club. Poured here at tea. Anne B. & I to last Boyd Neel orchestra.

Mon. 19 To Principal re Estimates. To Panhellenic Banquet at Granite Club & replied to toast. Bad cold.

FEBRUARY 25

Thu. 19 Poured at U.W.A. Hobby Show. To tea at Luella's to meet Miss Darroch & Kay Steele. Anne & I to see "Rigoletto". Very good.

19 Fri. My hair done. Shopped, baked brown bread, Finished draft of speech. Anne & I played cribbage.

Sat. 19 Worked on budget: Had my hair done. Rain, sleet & high wind. Dinner at Union.

Mon 19 Dons met here. Panhellenic Banquet. I spoke & gave scholarship cup. Very long but nice dinner.

19 Prin. meeting. Saw film "Pursuit of Wisdom" very good. Gave cocoa & talk to Port Colborne h.s. students.
