19 Hugh & I went shopping. Donald & Mary skating. Baked. Knitted.
+ 19 Girls & I to church. H. & I went to McIlwraith's for tea. Heard Symphony & Charlie McCarthy as usual.
19 Milder. Dell Kemp & I went downtown to Press club tea - florist spoke. H. out.
19 Lecture on "Burns". Luella came here after. My foot infected, poulticed it.
19 Thu. Cleaned, ironed & mended. Went to Luella's for roast. H. home for tea. Very slippery.

Sun. 19 All went skating in ravine, I took pictures. Lovely day. Don & Luella here for tea. H. & I went to Logans for supper.
Mon. 19 Went to libary & shopping. Melting. Started knitting my pale blue sweater. Started revising novel.
Wed. 19 Went shopping. Mild. Harold out. Typing every day.
19 Hugh & Anne in with colds. Poulticed my foot & sorted papers from cellar.
19 Fri. cold. Mary up a while. Went to P.C. exec. lunch & met Eleanor W. at Eatons Luella came over in evening

Mon. 19 Took Anne to Yonge St. D, H & I went to Open Night at high school. Crowds - all very interesting.
19 My tea for wives of dept. 16 here. went very well. Mrs. Werry & I went to nutrition lecture.
19 Rain. Went to school to see new books. Typed, Wove on bag. Harold out.
19 Went to Yonge St. L.P.C.I. parents' night, in Miss Reddick's room, saw [folk?] dancing etc. Harold out.
19 Hugh shopped for me. Baked pies. Luella & I to Art Gallery to see paintings of Emily Carr. Alan here for dinner.

19 children had parties at school. I went to library. Had valentine party here ice cream etc.
Wed 19 Valentines at school. Had party here - favours, ice cream etc. snowed all day. Began typing novel.
Fri. 19 Typed & mended. Took Hugh to art gallery. Rain. Harold here for dinner.
Sat. 19 Mary's theory exam. Don Creighton came to hear "Tannhauser." Basted hems of new sunroom curtains.
19 Anne to church. Very cold. Heard symphony. Blackout.

19 Typed & corrected. Darned & mended. Mary at home with a cold.
Thu 19 exec. meeting of U.A. W.C. Harold's lecture at U.C. "Trends in Econ. in Can." Excellent.
19 Went shopping with D. Mary & I to ballet Swan Lake, Cinderella, Spectre de la Rose, Graduation Ball.
19 Children playing with plasticene. Heard Churchill speak. Jack Benny et al.
19 25o below zero. Anne & Mary cleaned A's room. I washed & cleaned.
