19 Went shopping. Harold & I went to sherry party at Glazebrook's & on to Presidents' Reception at museum.
Sat. 19 Spent afternoon at Creightons listening to "Lohengrin". splendid. Very cold.
+19 Went downtown to get slip cover for chair. Weaving class at Mrs. Holden's. Cold. Anne & Hugh back to school.
19 met Anne & got her shoes. Went to library. Typed. Mild.
19 Wed. Mary went to school. Baked pies. Anne's family birthday dinner. She & Hugh skating.

19 Baked & mended. Took Hugh to get new glasses & then to party at Jackson's. Donald & Mary skiing
19 Girls & I went to church. Bright & cold. Creightons, Harts, Mr. McLeod, Logans here for tea.
19 Mildred away sick. Went to call on Mrs. McIlwraith. Anne at her music.
19 Typed hard & finished mss. Lecture on "Wounds" excellent. Luella came here.
19 H. in bed with cold. Went to bank & saw Luella. A. & Hugh skating. Reading "G.B.S."

Sun. 1939 Mary went to church. children ski-ing & skating. Milder. Read "A Mind That Found Itself." Hear Marx Bros.
19 Hugh in bed with cough. Mon. Looked after him, wrote & knitted.
Wed. 19 Wrote & typed. Snowing. Went to Univ. library for books. Harold out.
Thurs. 19 Lunch at Park Plaza with Mrs. Wright, tok her to U.A.W.C. at museum Bishop White spoke on China.
19 A. & Harold in bed. Sewed on A's dress & mended. Snowing. Doris T here to hear records. & Mac Drummond here.

19 Blizzard. Went to kindergarten meeting. Reading group at Ruth Tait's, Many there.
19 Hugh & Anne in with colds. Mrs. Werry & I went to nutrition class at Bedford Pk. school.
19 Tea at Peggy Brown's. Lovely time. Weaving class at night. Set up & wove honeysuckle pattern. Snowing hard.
19 Wrote on story. Went to Luella's for tea. Snow but mild. Harold out.
19 Shopped with D. H. to office. Luella & I to Wild West party at Heliconian Club.

Tues 19 Went downtown shopping & to see Prof. Alexander. Talked about my novel. Boys ski-ing. Don & Luella here.
Wed. 19 Cold. Sewed & mended. Hugh still in. Reading "Cities of the Plain."
Fri. 19 Mended & revised all day. Hugh to sleigh ride party at Dignam's.
Sat. 19 Shopped on Yonge St. Raining & mild. H. home for tea. Proofreading mss.
19 Sun. Cold & raw. Kemps & Chisholms here for tea with their boys.
