FEBRUARY 21

Tues 19 Took Mary to Conservatory for her fourth grade examin. Then we got material for dresses. Very cold.

19 Wed. Went to lecture on Thomas Hardy. Very good. Came home with Harold.

19 Typed. Took Hugh to art gallery, I went to library. Read & wove. Mary out at sleigh ride.

19 Mary & I downtown. Got her jacket & coat. Met carpenter at new house. Knitting & reading. H., D. & I to Marx Bros. " The Big Store"

19 Anne to church. Hugh to Museum. Heard symphony. H. back from Ottawa.

FEBRUARY 22

19 Cold & stormy. Cut out dresses. Tigger lost - great excitement.

Thu 19 Typed. Shopped. Went to Bladen's lecture - Bladens, Creightons & us had dinner at Park Plaza. They came here. coal strike - no coal.

Sat. 19 Took Mary to Dr. Hill & optician. Melting. heard "Fidelis", wove & read. Typed.

19 Sun. Hugh to scout rally. Wrights, Creightons & Cooks here for tea. Hear Benny etc.

19 Mon. Hugh in bed with enlarged glands. I have cold. Cleaned & typed some.

FEBRUARY 23

Thurs. 19 Found Tigger at Humane Soc. Went to Prof. Martin's lecture, H. presiding, & with Mrs. Roberts to hear Miss Tedd on music.

Fri. 19 Typed all day. Mended some. Saw planets at night & wonderful full moon.

19 Girls & I to church. Heard symphony, read & popped corn.

19 at house to meet decorator & to Luella's for tea. Fine bright day.

19 Went to lunch at Heliconian, dinner at Press club. milder & wet. H. here for tea.

FEBRUARY 24

19 Went shopping & to Mrs. McGregor's for tea. Bright day. Sewed all morning. Hugh & Mary went to Symphony.

Sat. 19 Heavy snow. Typed. Heard Verdi's "Otello". H. home early. "Cod Fisheries' came. We went to Creightons

Mon. Got my hair done. Took Mary to get new glasses.

19 Tues. Typed story & mended. But out girls. print dresses. Sunny day.

Wed. 19 bright. Washed Went to Loblaws. To Ruth Tait's for tea.

FEBRUARY 25

19 Baked. Finished girls' dirndl dresses. Luella came in for tea. H & I went to dinner at Dawson - Kemps, Browns, Underhills

19 girls & I to church. H & I went to sherry party at Mrs. Whitely's. Very cold. Saw 5 planets

19 went to lunch with Harriet Parsons at Heliconian club, got wallpaper for my room. Harold back from N.Y.

19 Basted dresses. Got coal. E. Welsford & I went to "Citizen Kane" & got chocolate.

19 Took Mrs. Murray to U.A.W.C. meeting at Botany bldg. shopped.
