The terms of the contract with the Laidlaw-Dunn Gordon Co provd for a note to be issued for one half the contract price upon completion and test of the plant, all of which has been done. the Amount of the note is $I7.732.00 to date from June I.I906, for one year bearing 6 per cent interest from date. Will you kindly have the necessary resolution by the Finance committee to have this note issued?

Mayor and Council: Sirs:
There is, on the books of the water department, a charge against me of some thirty-odd dollars for excess water. This charge is the result of an under-ground leak in an old, dis-used closet in the rear yard of the premises on which I pay rent.
Your water committee has generously offered me a reduction on this bill.
