Hon Mayor and City Council:-

Gentlemen:-

There has been several of the police badges belonging to the police department lost and destroyed. I would greatly appreciate permission to order twenty five police badges at a cost of about $1.25 each.

I would also call your attention to the fact that the hose used at Patrol station has given out. We need fifty feet of new garden hose for this purpose.

We your Finance Committee beg leave to report on the petitions of W.H.Hodge for the return of the penalties assessed against his property. that accordinging to the report of the City assessor & Collector attached there is no blame attached to the City Authorities therefore we recommend claim be received & filed.

referring to attached petition of WH Hodge neither myself or Deputies have any resolution of Mr Hodge ever calling to pay his city taxes and being made to locate his property his deed would show just what he owned ind. think he could have got statement of taxes at any time by bringing correct description of property under the circumstance I respectfully recommend that his petition be not granted
