Fort Worth, Texas, Aug. 3, 1906.

To The Mayor & City Council,

Fort Worth, Texas.

Gentlemen: –

I will do the sprinkling for the city as follows: For Resident Streets, twice per day, for 1/2 cent running foot, except Broadway and Pennsylvania Ave, which shall be 3/4 cents per foot front per week.

For Business Streets I will sprinkle four times a day at 1 cent per foot front.

Side streets in proportion to times they are to be sprinkled. No block to be sprinkled unless 2/3 are signed for. I will sprinkle Street Crossings, High School Grounds, City Halls, Central Fire Hall for $1,000 per annum.

The above proposition is made with the understanding that I take sprinkling outfit of seven horses, nine miles, ten wagons and harness, and all tools belonging to the same from city at cost––$4,400.00––and pay for the same from cash receipts, $225.00 per month, besides the amount due from the city. Will also make bond to carry out contract, which shall be not less than three, nor more than five years.

It is further understood that no deductions are to be made for wet weather.
