BE IT RESOLVED:

That the City Council deems it necessary to pave the streets within the following territory within the city limits of the city of Fort Worth which is described as follows to wit: That certain tract of land being a part of the city of Fort Worth described by metes and bounds as follows to-wit: Beginning at the northwest corner of Block 5 city, being the intersection of the east line of Throckmorton Street and the south line of Belknap Street;Thence easterly along the south line of Belknap Street to the northwest corner of Block 10 city, being the intersection of said south line of Belknap Street and the east line of Rusk Street; Thence southerly along the east line of Rusk Street to a point in the extension of the said east line of Rusk Street 100 feet south of the extension of the south line of Front Street; Thence westerly parallel with the extension of the south line of Front Street to a point in the extension of the east line of Throckmorton Street 100 feet south of the extension of the south line of Front Street to the place of beginning.

And that the pavement shall be of brick laid upon such proper foundations as may be necessary for the making of a good pavement. And they deem it necessary that the owners of the abutting property, to-wit all of the owners within the limits of the territory hereinabove described, shall pay the cost of the said paving, with the exception of the street intersections which should be paid by the city, and the said city council declare that the property within said limits as aforesaid will be especially benefitted by the said improvement and benefitted to an extent greater than the cost of the said improvement.

Be it further resolved that the city engineer be directed to make and submit an estimate of the cost of the proposed paving which the city council deems necessary, and that the city assessor and collector of taxes

report to the council the valuation of the real estate, without the improve ment, within the limits of the said district, and that said reports of said city assessor and said city engineer be made at the next meeting of the city council.

By direction of his honor the Mayor T.J.Powell, you are hereby directed to call a special meeting of the City Council for this afternoon at 4 p.m. for purpose of taking into consideration the payment of Series Annual bond interest on city bonds.

Came to hand this day at 11 am June 20/05 and executed by serving notice in person and by telephone on all the within Aldermen except Alderman Lehane and he is out of the city.
