[p.41] February 5 1969 Wed. Bright and very cold. Typed , wrote for observer. To Capitol to see " The Lion in Winter". Noisy but very beautiful.

1970 Thu. To store. Cold, worked on gallery proofs of nursing book and Empire and Communication. Wrote letters.

1971 Fri. Milder. Very icy, saw men of Apollo 14 on moon. To Hugh's for supper and evening while [Hugh] and L. out. Saw " Forsyeth".

[p.42] February 6 1969 Thu. To [Committee] on Communication at United Church House. Movies, book reviews etc. Cold. Called up Anne.

1970 Fri. With Beulah to club for talk on food by M. Ketchen. Very good. Milder. Read proof.

1971 Sat. To store and library. Icy but milder. ["First Take off"] of Apollo 24. " Corner" on radio.

[p.43] February 7 1969 Fri. Donald came at noon phoned Lorraine. Drove to Waterloo. Very good evening talking.

1970 Sat. To library and store. Worked on gallerys and Empire and Communication. Heard Rusticana and Pagliacci.

1971 Sun. To church. Bright and cold. Read and radio. Came home from church with Miss [Niemeyer]. Reading H. James " Italian House".

[p.44] February 8 1969 Sat. All went shopping. Cold. Snyders came for dinner. Donald showed slides - excellent. Very good time.

1970 Sun. With Hugh's - lunch at service rest. On 401 and to Anne's walk in park, lovely time. 3 little ones had a great time. Fog.

1971 Mon. Had my hair done. Snow and strong wind all day. Dinner at club and heard Robert Finch.

[p.45] February 9 1969 Sun. To Sunday school - Donald went too. Donald showed movies of India. Left at 1:30 and to Hugh's. Talked and dinner there.

1970 Mon. Mild. Proof of Empire and Communication. To Women's Faculty club - Helen spoke - saw Many friends. D. Foward drove me home.

1971 Tues. Snow and strong wind. To City Hall to be vaccinated. Wrote letters. Saw Apollo 14 " slash down". Letters from Donald.
