1971 Sat. Mary and John came on train. All went shopping. They to Sam Record shop. To Fairview Mall for pizza and all to Hugh's for dinner. Very good time.

[p.22] January 17 1969 Fri. Snowed all day. Waded to mail box. Guests to dinner, Hopkins and Chrities, Goose and key lime pie.

1970 Sat. To store. Snowing and milder. Wrote letters. Heard " Magic Flute." Knitted.

1971 Sun. Very cold. Talked and talked. Wendy and I got dinner. Mary and John left for Kingston. Talked over supper. 1 o. Donald called Anne

[p.23] January 18 1969 Sat. Terrible time to get car out of drifts. To girls tennis lessons and saw Beth and Ron Moxness at hotel.

1970 Sun. To church. Dr. McClure preached. Mrs. Cummings drove me home. Read and radio. "Ancient Sicily"

1971 Mon. Very cold. Wendy and Donald left for Geneseo. To library. Swan " Italy" brochure came. Talked to Bertha. Anne called.

1970 Mon. Donald came for lunch, to see Harris at Innis Coll, and then to see Mr. Stanley Biggs. Very cold.

1971 Tues. To United Church Women and worked in kitchen. Lunch and annual meeting. Very cold. Bertha called. C.P.R new edition came
