[p.37] FEBRUARY 1 19 Went to Loblaws. Hugh shovelled snow H. home for tea. 19 had my hair done. Got rugs at Kay's. Shopped. H. out for dinner. 19 To shop & to Taylor's for tea. Sunny & cold. very slippery. A. at music. 19 Baked all morning Mary Pearson & Catherina de Ribbing for lunch & dinner. A. at Summit all day 19 Mary Ferguson here for dinner. Tea for Swords, Lipsetts, Klawe's etc. cold.

Baked pies & cookies George Britnell here for tea. Mary here overnight. 19 Sun. 10 for tea, Jacks, B. Wallace, Jack Sword etc. Heard radio. Tired. 19 Mon. Washed. Miss Ford came to work on "history." very tired.

Mac Drummond here in evening. 19 To Y W for Executive meeting. Cold.
