[p.56] FEBRUARY 20 19 Sun. Mary & I to Helionian Club to Lillian Welb's recita. Mild & bright. John Harbron here. Tues 19 To Forest Hill. Snowing Hugh in bed with sore throat Miss Perfect, M. Blackadar & I pasted dummy. D. Taylor came in 19 Wed. My hair done, to bank. Sunny & bright. Waited on Hugh, sewed. Mary called up. Thur 19 To YW. planning session, lunch there. H. out for dinner. very cold. Fri 19 Dr. Benson, Miss Beatty & Miss Ford, Dr. Moe for tea, Prof. Cory there in evening. Children all out.

[p.57] FEBRUARY 21 19 Washed. Went to Loblaws. Tea at Mrs. Williamson. Mrs. Robinson & Ratcliffe there. Mild. 19 Took A. to dentist. My hair done. with Doris & Bill Taylor to see " Great Mr. Handel" Rain, ice, terrible walking. 19 A. in bed with flu. Waited on both. Meeting of U.A.W.C. in Museum, Prof. Dymond spoke. H. off to Chicago. 19 To Settlement to take music & to Art Gallery. Very cold. Mary to formal. H. to Ottawa & N.Y. 19 Baked rolls & sewed. H, & M. out. Hugh & I to movies.

[p.58] FEBRUARY 22 Tues. 19 Snow & slush. Did errands and to Y.W. - appt. with Mrs. Cedergren. very wet. 19 Waited on Hugh. Typed & sewed. A. made child's dress for " Needlewoman" badge. Fri. 19 To store. waited on Hugh & A. Jo & Majorie here - pasted Quarterly. Sat. 19 Baked oatmeal bread. D. & M. out. Snowing. Heard " Carmen." 19 To Church, H & I to Plewes' to see Miss A. Tolstoy, then to Taylors. H, H, A & I to Film Soc. to see "Duck Soup"

[p.59] FEBRUARY 23 19 Ironed & Mended. Got statement from Collins T to P.C. dinner. Mr. Faludi on town planning. 19 In bed part of day with sore back. Sewed some & looked after Hugh. A. to music. 19 Baked. Roasted chicken Hugh up for dinner. Sewed. D. out. 19 To Church to hear Haydn's Creation. Snowing. Made cheese souffle'. Mon 19 Washed. To village. Mild & bright.

H. back from N.Y. has boil very bad. crossed out To Y W. editorial Poulticed it. 19 Mrs. Foster & Mrs. Lucysdin Miss Ford here. My hair done & to bank.
