Dear Brother
I did not know but that I might have a chance to send a letter down to you by the express so I thought I would improve the opportunity. I enjoy myself very much where I am now. I study at home now and recite in Latin to L Frye I have just commenced to study. Latin And Arithmetic is all that I study. I commence at 9 and study till 12 with half an hours intermission betwen In the morning I attend to my Arithmetic in the afternoon from half past 1 to half past 4 I attend to Latin which arrangment I like very much I shall have a vacation in July.
I want to come to Boston this summer but dont know as M Jackson will think it best. I hear reports about you but dont know whether to credit them or not A was down here the other night and was talking with Charles Frye who happened to be up at the time about you and Louisa heard her say that you was coming up here to board L thought that was what she said but she is not certain. I should like to know if its true I hope it is.

I am thinking of making Augusta a pair of ottomans as a present If I conclude to make them I will let you know and I want to know if you will get the frames I do not want you to mention it to A or any one so that it will get to her If you will get the frames I wish you would write and tell me As it is getting rather late I think I will put my writing away for to night So good night

I thought I would write a little more although I have not much to say.
A has probably got the company tonight of JR and his sister Hater and Louisa Frye. Augusta was down here last Saturday night and went over to the North Parish in the evening with James and C Frye and and Sister but did not stay long as it looked like rain and it is well they did not for a little while after they came home it begun to rain I was at a temperance lecture at the time and coming home I got some wet She went from here the next morning to Church but I did not go as I was sick with the headache. I wish you would write and tell me whether you you will get those frames or not I do not want you to get them unless you are perfectly
