My dear Brother;
This eve I felt it my duty to write you as I can now find time, which has not been the case before since you left me. I have felt anxious to hear from you, as well as expecting a letter, but as you probably have a good excuse I will say no more.
I have been staying with Mrs Jackson until last Thursday when I went to Uncle C- where I have been 'till to-day when I came with them to meeting. Mr Jackson preached two of the best sermons I ever heard. I am now greatly interested in the Sab- school. Our supere ntendent is a Mr Mans of Boston, of the "Old south Church." My teacher as well as he are of the "first kate",
Friday Uncle Hiram carried me to Billerica. We visited a school there and dined with the teacher. We then went on an visited the Mr Franklin Jaguit H., and ill assure you it was one of the best visits I have had for a long time. The spoke of mother's call there on her way to the Falls, mentioning many things of interest to me. A sight also of the old home of Grandmother was very gratefying I also learned o fact of which I am sorry to say I have remained ignorant all my life. vis. That Grandfather was from B- He passed the house They enquired kindly after you expressing a wish that you might visit them.
