Every team owner is interested in his harness bills. The most vital part of his harness is the trace. He is paying more for his traces than he did five or ten years ago, and the traces he is getting at the advanced prices are not so good as those he used to get. It is an actual fact that in the face of the advancing leather market, the tannage of leather has been deteriorating. Consequently he is very much interested in finding a trace to-day which is light, pliable, neat looking and durable at a fair price. The combination of all these qualities is found only in the Wakefield Steel Cable Traces.
We have no the space in this circular to tell you all the good points in the Wakefield Trace. If you are interested enough to look into its merits further, and we are pretty sure you will be, we will be glad to send you a complete Wakefield Trace catalog upon request. In the meantime, remember that when you buy a set of Wakefield Taces, you are getting traces that will outlast any all-leather trace you ever used- traces that are fully guaranteed- that cannot be cut or broken- traces that are working for you all the time. Furthermore, if the leather cover of the Wakefield Traces should become accidentally scarred or mutilated, it does not affect the strength of the trace in the least, and the damage can easily be repaired by your harness maker. In fact the trace can be easily re-covered and made as good as new for less than one-half the price of new traces. We mentioned above the team owner's harness bills Wakefield Traces mean economy wherever used.
