Hon Mayor and City Council.
Gentlemen.
We your special committee appointed as Tellers to canvas the returns of the general election held in the city of Fort Worth, on April 5th 1904. for purpose of electing one Mayor, and nine Aldermen for said city, respectfully report that we find that.
And that Thereas J. Powell received a majority of all votes cast for Mayor. and that W. H. Ward received a majority of all votes cast for Alderman of the First Ward, and that B. L. Waggoman received a majority of all votes cast for Alderman of the Second Ward. and that each of the following named candidates received a majority of all votes cast in their respective wards for Alderman, W.R. Parker of the Third Ward. Jno F. Lehane of the Fourth Ward, M. M. Lydon of the Fifth Ward. W.G. Newby of the Sixth Ward. Jno F. Henderson of the Seventh Ward. J.F. Zurn of the Eighth Ward. Q. T. Moreland of the Ninth Ward.
