Be it Resolved
We, Your Committe, Whereas - there having as yet been no budget adopted and there being a provision made by ordinance for the setting aside of a specific sum for the maintenance of the Ft. Worth Library.
Therefore be it resolved that the sum of Four Thousand Dollars ($4000) be set aside aside as a special fund for the maintenance of the Ft. Worth Public Library - in accordance with the agreement between the City and the Library Assn.

We, Your Committee
Whereas, at the corner of Lipscomb and Broadway streets there is no culvert or drain for the purpose of carrying off the water flowing from Broadway and in consequence thereof the grading and graveling on Lipscomb Street is badly washed by every heavy rain, to the serious detriment of the street and of the property abutting on said street — and Whereas by the expenditure of a small amount of money the condition of said street can be greatly improved — Therefore be it resolved that the Street Commissioner be and he is hereby intstructed to have constructed the necessary drain or culvert across Lipscomb Street at its intersection with Broadway.
