Supply of Water for Cem.y refd to Specl Comee to report _
Voted that the subject of any arrangement with the Cambridge Water Works for a supply of water for the Cemetery be referred to Messrs Livermore & Cheever to inquire & report thereon at the next meeting.
Sup.ts Salary increased to $250. _
On motion by Mr Bowditch,
Voted that the Salary of the Superintendent be twenty five hundred dollars _ $2500 _ per annum, commencing on the .
Frank R. Bunker appointed
The Committee on Lots to which was referred in April last the subject of appointing a Gatekeeper with power to make such appointment subject to the concurrence of the Trustees, reported that they had appointed

Voted that such appointment be confirmed.
Com. on Catalogue report _
The Committee on Catalogue and Plans reported through the Chairman Mr Norcross _ reported that the Catalogue is nearly ready for distribution, and that the engraving of the map of the Cemetery on Stone is also finished, ready for printing. The Committee recommends the distribution of the catalogue gratuitously

The regular monthly meeting of the Trustees was held on _
There were present the President and Messrs Adams, Austin, Cheever, Little, Livermore and Read.
Bill of A. Meisel for engraving stone approved _
The President reported that, having deemed the bill of A. Meisel for engraving the map of the Cemetery reasonable, he had approved the same.
Comee to procure office for Trustees report in part _
Mr Livermore of the Committee to procure an office for the Trustees reported that the Committee had made some progress and asked for further time.
Com. to procure supply of water report in part.
Mr Livermore for the Committee to ascertain what arrangement, if any, can be made with the Cambridge Water Works to supply water at the Cemetery, reported in part and asked for further time. _
A communication came from the Superintendent respecting the fees for deposit in the Receiving Tomb, recommending the increase of the same to twenty five dollars ($25): _ Also the laying out of a lot for the interment of bodies left in the Receiving Tomb, for an unreasonable length of time.

Comee authorized to dispose of safe & furniture & rent _ and to fit new office _
Voted _
That the same Committee has full power to arrange for the disposal of the safe or any furniture of this office, and for the payment of rent to the present landlord: also to arrange for fitting up the office in Pemberton Square.
Com. on the obtaining of water asked further time _
Mr Livermore for the Committee to ascertain if any arrangement can be made with the Cambridge Water Works to obtain a supply of water for the Cemetery, asked for further time. _
Proposition to purchase Stone on which the map is engraved _
Mr Norcross for the Committee on the catalogue stated that A. Meisel, the lithographer of the Cemetery Map for 1867 is willing to sell the Stone on which the same is engraved: _ that on the reverse side is an engraving of the Back-bay Lands belonging to the City; that the price of the stone will be $134.40 _ that he is informed that the City authorities are disposed to join in the purchase: and the Committee recomend the Trustees to take action in that behalf. _
Comee authorized to purchase same jointly with City of Boston
Voted
That the Committee be authorized to make such purchase on condition that the City of Boston will join in the purchase, and that a proper contract be made for its ownership & possession. Adjourned
