Also upon motion by Mr Read,
Voted that the salary of the Gate Keeper and Superintendent's
Clerk be the same as for the last year.

Ament to By-law _ Art. 23 _ Receiving. Tomb fees.

The Amendment to Art. 23d of the By-Laws, _
which was proposed at the last precding meeting,
to wit: _ requiring twenty dollars to be advanced for a
deposit in the Receiving Tomb instead of fifteen dollars
as heretofore provided, fifteen of which is to be refunded
upon compliance with the by law, instead of ten, as
heretofore, _ was taken from the table, read and
unanimously adopted.

Purchase of land _ Comee report inexpedt

Mr Nazro for the Committee chosen at the last meeting
to inquire into the practicability of purchasing the lot of
land, west of and adjoining the Cemetery
, submitted
a report in writing, concluding as follows: _

"While therefore, for some reasons, this land
would be a desirable acquisition, the Committee do
not feel justified in recommending its purchase at
the price at which it is held, but leave the question
for the consideration of the Trustees.

Voted that the report be accepted.

Committee on Supply of Water chosen –

Upon motion by Mr Curtis,
Voted that the Committee to inquire on what terms
a supply of water can be obtained for the Cemetery from
the Cambridge Water Works, (cosisting [sic] of
