On the sixth day of March 1875, I posted in two public places, in the village of Hanover, the following
Notice
The Dartmouth Cemetery Association will meet, at the Study of E. D. Sanborn, on Saturday, April 3, 1875, at 2 o'clock, P. M. to attend to the following business:
1. To choose officers for the year ensuing:
2. To hear the Treasurer's report:
3. To provide for improvements in the Cemetery.

In accordance with the above notice, the Association met at the study of E. D. Sanborn on the 3d day of April at 2 o'clock P. M. and chose the following officers:

In accordance with the foregoing warrant the annual meeting of the Dartmouth Cemetery Association at Precinct Hall this day.
Samuel W. Cobb was chosen Moderator.
The following officers were chosen for the ensuing year.

It was voted that the Directors be a Committee to take measures to procure a good carriage road from Main St. to Cemetery, between Hiram Hitchcocks & E. T. Quimby's land.
Also to procure an entrance from Wheelock St. across Luneau Bantwells land, if thought practicable.
Voted to adjourn to meet at same place, at 2 P.M. four weeks from date. May,8 12, 1876.

In accordance with the vote of adjournment, the Dartmouth Cemetery Association met at Precinct Hall. at 2 P.M. Voted to adjourn four weeks, to June 5, 1876, at 2 P.M.

Voted that the Pres. H. E. Parker confer with Frederic Chase, & obtain from an opinion some competent authority to see if a road can be laid to Cemetery, between land of Hiram Hitchcock & E. T. Quimby.
Voted to adjourn to June 19. 2 P.M.

RECTO:
The Dartmouth Cemetery Association having failed to hold its annual meeting for the year 1879. Application was made for a legal meeting, as follows:
To Samuel W. Cobb a Justice of the Peace for the County of Grafton.
The subscribers, owners of one twentieth of the stock and property of the Dartmouth Cemetery Association, represent that said corporation has failed to hold its annual meeting for the year 1879. They therefore request you to call a meeting of the members of said corporation to be held at the office of Frederic Chase, in said Hanover on Saturday the 24th day of Apr. at 3 'o clock in the afternoon for the purpose of acting upon the following subjects. viz:-
1st To choose a moderator to preside over said meeting.
2nd To choose all necessary officers for the year ensuing.
3d To see if the association will vote to accept the gift of Mrs. Maria B. Furber, on conditions named therein.
4th To transact any other necessary business.
