The Secretary Marine Departt Board Trade London 19 Nov 1857 Sir With reference to your letter of the 17th instance and to Paragraph 92 of Instructions. I beg to acquaint you that I was informed that [Wr] 1. had been forwarded- in respect of "Vesta! - by the Officer of the Coast Guard. The Master and Crew of the Vesta have returned to [Prussia] consequently the form cannot be filled up - from the statement of any one now here. But most of the particulars can be taken from the copy of the Master Declaration which I forwarded to you on the 3rd Instant. J Sparrow

Poynter RN, Patrington Sir 14 Nov /56 I beg to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of yesterdays date reporting that the Dutch Galliot "[?Maria Jana Jacob a Barendina]" is ashore at Kilnsea Gap and to acquaint you that the Dutch Consul has Telegraphed the same to the owner from whom a reply is expected tomorrow - when you shall be apprized of the result - The Master who is in Hull - is to call here tomorrow JS

No 10978 - 30 October 1856 Capt. Robertson The Receiver of Wreck Custom House Hull is informed that unless there is any other reason (such as the wreck being dangerous to navigation) from the buoy being left on the wreck of the "Banford" he will cause it to be returned to the Trinity House from whence he borrowed it and will submit the expense incurred in placing & removing the same, - or otherwise
