The juice of half a good Lemon 1 oz peppermint water the same quantity of springwater half a Drachm of salt of wormwood mix them well together as as much double refind Sugar as will make it palatable. This is sufficient for three Doses.

Lavender Water

A quart of rectifyd spirits of wine one ounce vol vit of Lavender A quarter of an oz of Bergamot and a quart of an oz of Ambergrease. mix the Ambergrease + Lavender with a small quantity of the spirit then add the remainder shaking the bottle every day for a fortnight when it will be fit for use.

For Burns

Lime water a pint Brandy 2 oz water of acotated litharge half an oz [where] Ice [...] had the best early remedy in lue of a cold water or spirit

1 oz Bole Almonac 1 oz Orris root 1/2 oz Cream Tartar a few drops essence of peppermint 1/4 oz gum myrh

To one quart of Spirits of Wine 1 oz of of Sublimate finely powder Notte - tis rank Poison Wash the bedsted with a feather

To make Milk of Roses

1 pint of rose water 1/2 oz oyl of tartar [...] oz oyl of sweet Almonds

1 oz of Camomile flowers 1 oz of bitter orange Peel 1 oz of Gentian root. Pour on a quart of boiling water over night then strain it in the morning take a wine glass full of a morn fasting and another in the middle of the day if it agrees.
