[Margin] Summoned before the magistrate on the 18th [acct?] Amt of frontage paid per receipt Nov 17/82 [/margin] Mrs James Hogan and Pete Milne did on or about the 25th Oct. open a drain on Ontario St Contrary to By Law John Mudie paid 25 feet frontage from line of street at right angle property line

[Margin] Obstruction removed according to notice [/margin] W. J. Norris obstructed King Street by laying thereon a quantity of brick contrary to by law Notified him this day 25 Nov/82

[Margin] obstruction removed [/margin] Saml J. Kilpatrick obstructed Sydenham Street by laying thereon a quantity of stone. Contrary to by law Notified him this day 25th nov/82

[Margin] Obstruction removed according to notice [/margin] Robt [Robert] Clugston obstructed Brock street by laying thereon a box containing mortar. Contrary to by law Notified him this day

[Margin] size of steps reduced [/margin] James A. Henderson agent for property on Bagot Street is having steps built on said street. which causes an obstruction Notified him to that effect nov 26th/82

[Margin] Inspected and found a dead body. Had it taken out, and put in a coffin Next day it was identify by one Jno Lyon as his father. He took charge of the body and buried it.[/margin] Complaint was made that a dead rider was floating in the water at the foot of Queen Street, this day Dec 1st, 1882

[Margin] made inspection and found the snow had been removed [/margin] Complaint was made that Mrs Ranton allowed snow to remain on the street opposite to the property Earl Street. Contrary to by law. Per report C. W. Thompson Dec 8/82

[Margin] Summoned to appear before the Police Magistrate on the 16th instant Fined $5 and costs [/margin] Complaint is made that Jno. Y Parkhill at the City of Kingston on the ninth day of December instant aid or forestall regrate and monopolize the market by buying butter eggs and potatoes before the hour of ten o'clock Contrary to by law. Rep. [reported] P. C. [police constable] Jas. [James] Nesbitt

[Margin] Summoned to appear before the Magistrate on the 12th [illegible] Dismissed [/margin] Complaint is made that Thos [illegible] David Dempster and Newland were on the tenth (Sunday) acting disorderly on the street. Report P. C. [police constable] Thompson Dec 10/82

[Margin] Summoned to appear before the magistrate on the 12th fined [/margin] Complaint was made that Wm [William] Duncan and James Watts were driving through the street without bells on the 9th inst. Report P. C. [police constable] Jas. [James] Nesbitt Dec 9/82

[Margin] Snow is removed according to notice [/margin] Complaint is made the Capt. Patterson has allowed snow to remain on the Boardwalk opposite his premise Notified the person on the premises 21st Dec/82

[Margin] Bonds given to the corporation this day Dec 30/82 [/margin] Complaint is made that John C. Mitchell has placed some brick and other articles on Barrie Street Contrary to By Law Notified him this day Dec 22nd/1882

[Margin] Complaint dismissed by the Magistrate Dec 26/82 [/margin] Complaint is made that Bernard Bird did on the 23rd inst. forestall regrate and monopolize the Market. Per Wm [William] Hinds 23rd Dec/82

[Margin] Summoned before the Magistrate and fined $10.00 and costs [/margin] Information was laid against one Benjamine Barney for keeping a junk shop without license. This day Dec 29/82 to appear on the 30th inst.

[Margin] Nuisance removed to the [illegible] ground [/margin] Complaint was made that James Coleman deposited a dead horse in the quarry behind the house of industry. Rep. Jas. [James] Nesbitt Notified him to remove the same.

[Margin] Bond given and frontage p'd [paid] as per receipt 29 Dec/82[/margin] Complaint is made that Dean Lyster is opening a drain on Clarence Street Contrary to By Law. Notified him this day 29 Dec /82 Frontage being 22 feet at 25¢ $5.50

[margin]He intends to Brick the building[/margin] Complaint is made that E. Chatterton is erecting a workshop on his premises on Princess Street contrary to By Law. Notified him this day Jany 13/83

[margin]Summoned before the Magistrate on the 17th Jany/83 - dismissed snow removed[/margin] Complaint is made by Col P.W. Worsley that A. McCormack has not removed the snow off the board walk. Notified McCormack this day 15th Jany/83.
