[Margin] Engineer reports verbally that No Charge is to be made as the street drain is above the head of the cellar [/margin] Alex. McCartney this day May 16th did open or cause to be opened a drain on O'Kill Street leading to the property of John Muckleston occupied by P. O'Donnell, Contrary to By Law Notified Mrs O'Donnell to pay frontage

[Margin] Notified the parties to remove rubbish and not to deposit any more May 31/83 [/margin] Complaint was made that Wm [William] Holes and Thos [Thomas] Newton did deposit rubbish and other nuisance on the North end of Sydenham Street. Report of J. Nesbitt 31 May/83

[Margin] R. Clugston Builder has given Bonds for the privilege June 5th/83 [/margin] P. C. Charles Thompson reported this day June 10th that a quantity of Building Material was laid down on the corner of Union and Division Streets

I examined the street this day 22d Dec/83 and notified Messrs John Breden and Murphy to clean the snow from the side walks adjoining their properties. which were the only places blocked.

[Margin] Snow removed according to notice 6th Jan'y/84 [/margin] Complaint was made that the commandant of "B" Battery allowed the snow to remain on the side walk adjoining the Tete Du Pont Barracks Contrary to By Law. Notified Col. [Montizaulent?] this 2nd Jan'y/84 to remove the snow.

[Margin] Rec'd the amt. from Mrs Agnew for Mrs Oliver . Per Treas. Receipt 8th Jan'y/84. [/margin] Mrs Oliver opened a drain on King and Gore streets. Contrary to By Law. Notified her to pay the amt [amount] of Frontage 32ft @25¢ per foot.
