We your Finance Com recommend that the lost coupons referred to in the within bond be paid.

We do not however believe that the bond is collectible in Texas and for that reason is unsafe [security?] but inasmuch as the amount involved is small and that the coupons have been lost of rsome time and have not been presented for payment, that these would be but little risk in the citys part in paying over the amount

Dear Sirs:-

In the matter of two lost coupons, aggregating $50.00, of the City of Fort Worth, we beg to enclose herewith an indemnity bond for twice the amount, duly signed by responsible persons and would ask that you request your City Treasurer to pay the amount to us.
