To the Honorable Mayor and City Council,
Gentlemen.
With reference to the attached resolution I would say that after giving the matter investigation I have come to the conclusion that there is nothing in our charter which makes a revision of the ordinances of the city repeal ordinances not included in said revision, and I am therefore of the opinion that the hack ordinance, that is the ordinance regulating the charges by hacks, cabs etc, is still in force, provided, or course, that it was duly published at the time of its passage.
Very respectfully,
E.C. Orrick City Atty
