Thursday April 21, 1921
A good day. Jim harrowed all day. Ben fenced some. Josie got dinner then her and Edna & Franklin and Mabel come to Johnson Reynols. I went this morning. Today was Mollie Reynols birth day. Christenia invited several of the kinsfolk to come.
I was all that went for dinner. Christinia went to the store and bought cakes and lemmons. Made lemon aid and served cakes & aid. Mollie has children that she is proud of. They seem to think so much of her. Reese Smith brought his mother and sister up there this evening and come and brough us all home. Kate Harvey was there two. I enjoyed it all.
Friday April 22, 1921
A cloudy windy day. Rain just at night. Jim and Ben worked all day at home. Josie ironed and got dinner.
I went to Long Island with Grace Brumfield. Reese Smith carried us. We fished all day and did not catch any thing. We eat dinner and supper at Mr Peaks. Mr and Mrs Peak was very nice to me and I am very glad for any kindness that is to me.
Mr Mayhew & Mr Irvin Lewis and his mother was fishing. Mr Less Rourks and Beaula brought us home. I hope I have not done any harm to any one to day. If so excuse me.
Tuesday April 26, 1921
A good day. Very warm this evening. A thunder cloud now at 8 oclock. Ben plowed today. Jim plowed the garden and worked it with the hoe. Josie and I washed this morning. Josie got dinner. Carrie washed with their new washer. They are pleased with it.
Josie and the children all but Edna went to Marvins.
Josie washed the dineing room floor be fore she went. Reese carried Edna and I to White Falls. I caught three fish. Reese caught one. There was at least a dozen people at the river. I guess all had a good time if they did not get many fish.
Thursday April 28, 1921
A cloudy day. Ben and Jim got up stumps most of the day.
Josie ironed this morning and went to the plant bed and got salit for tomorrows dinner and made Mabel a gown and got supper. I went to Marvins this evening. Carrie finished Eva a dress whle I was there.
Virginia Harvey has put stiches on two of Hazels dresses and will put some on Evas.
Reese got some papers. He sent Henry two. Today was Denia Blairs birthday. She is 56.
Friday April 29, 1921
A cloudy day. The men folks could not do much of any thing. This evening Ben carried Henry & Reese and I to Cedar Forest to fish. There was people there seining. We fished a little in the pond. A cloud began to gather and I was a fraid to stay so we come home and then it did not rain much.
The school closed at Strait Stone this evening. There was a big crowd there. We did not stop there. Mrs Anderson and Mrs Blair went to see Mrs Edmons this evening.
Josie ironed all the morning. Ben went to Hubbards store and got a nice lot of fish. Josie fried some for supper. I did not eat any to night.
